2. Data we process

Depending on the features used, UrbanKing Plus may process the following categories of data:

• Account data: email address, account identifier, account status, creation date, and information required for authentication and account recovery.
• In-app profiles: profile name, selected avatar, Kids profile setting, and whether a PIN is enabled. Profile PINs are stored in a protected/derived form and not as readable plain text.
• Subscription and purchase data: Premium status, product identifier, transaction identifiers, and tokens or receipts required to verify a purchase with Google Play or the App Store. UrbanKing Plus does not receive or store full payment-card details.
• Technical and device data: a random installation/device identifier generated by the app, platform, app version, network information, active sessions, and technical data required for playback and security.
• Usage and diagnostics data: interactions with the app, screens visited, technical events, performance data, errors, and crashes when the relevant services are enabled.
• Notifications: push-notification token and platform when the user enables notifications.
• Support: category, subject, and content of support tickets and messages submitted to support.
• Connected streaming services: if the user connects a compatible service they are authorized to use, the app may process credentials or technical identifiers required for the connection, catalog information, and playback requests. These data are used only to provide the requested feature and are protected according to the service architecture.
• Advertising: when ads are enabled, Google Mobile Ads may process IP address, product interactions, diagnostic data, and device/account identifiers according to platform settings, consent choices, and provider rules.

• create and manage accounts and profiles;
• provide access to the app, playback, casting, catalogs, and connected services;
• manage sessions, devices, and security;
• verify Premium purchases, restore purchases, and apply the related entitlements;
• send requested notifications or support-related communications;
• provide technical support and manage tickets;
• measure app performance, stability, and usage and fix issues;
• display ads to users for whom advertising is enabled, in accordance with applicable consent preferences;
• prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized use.

4. Legal basis

Where applicable, data are processed to perform the service requested by the user, comply with legal obligations, meet security and fraud-prevention needs, pursue legitimate interests compatible with users' rights, and, where required, on the basis of consent.

UrbanKing Plus uses technical providers that are necessary for operation of the app. These may include:

Providers may process data in countries other than the user's country in accordance with their own terms, safeguards, and applicable legal transfer mechanisms.

6. Advertising and consent

For users for whom advertising is enabled, the app uses Google Mobile Ads. Where required, the app presents consent tools and allows users to reopen privacy options. Available preferences depend on region, device, and the advertising provider's features.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encrypted connections in transit, access controls, separation of sensitive credentials from the client, and server-side purchase verification. No system, however, can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.

8. Retention

Account data and associated application data are retained for as long as necessary to provide the service and while the account remains active. Following a verified deletion request, data associated with the account are deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days, except where longer retention is required for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Technical data managed by third-party services may be subject to those providers' own retention periods. For example, certain Firebase services apply their own retention periods to crash and technical metrics.

9. Account and data deletion

Users may request deletion of their UrbanKing Plus account and associated data. Instructions are available on the dedicated page:

Deleting an account does not automatically cancel or refund purchases managed by Google Play or the App Store. Refund requests or purchase-management actions must be handled through the applicable store.

10. Your rights

To the extent provided by applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of their personal data and may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Requests may be sent to privacy@urbankingplus.it.

11. Children

UrbanKing Plus is not directed specifically to children. Any “Kids” profile is a feature managed by the adult account holder to organize their household experience and does not constitute an invitation for children to create an account independently.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
